Many people nowadays are very much conscious about their own health and fitness. In addition to that, these people, and many others as well, are now having that desire to sculpt their bodies to achieve that magazine-cover look. As a result, gyms, health spas and other fitness centers have proliferated all over to cater to the needs of the fitness buffs and afficionados.
Even on television exercise machines, weight loss products, and other paraphernalia to improve fitness have more or less gained control over the airwaves and made their way into the households. But exercise is not the only way to build that body beautiful. It also entails certain amount of responsibility on the foods one chooses to eat. Being healthy and fit requires one to observe diet fitness.
Diet fitness is as essential as exercise itself. Diet for fitness provides the essential nutrition one needs to restore worn-out muscles and for healthy growth. Diet fitness should never be taken for granted. With the popularity of keeping fit, many different views, methods, programs and dieting strategies have been formulated by many professionals. Among these are high carb diets and high fat diets. Which one is more effective and which one should one choose to follow?
First thing to know would be the fundamental differences between these two diet approaches. As the name implies, high carb diets concentrates on taking in carbohydrate-rich foods while high fat diets endorses fat-rich foods. High carb diets are utilized to glycogen stored in the liver and muscles. Glycogen is a glucose complex that provides large amounts of energy ready for use in anaerobic exercises.
Fats, on the other hand, are well-known for being the richest source of calories. It actually contains 2.5 times more calories than carbohydrates and proteins alike. Studies also show that it takes the body 24 calories to metabolize carbohydrates while it only takes 3 to burn down fat. So which one to follow? A person can follow a high carb and low fat fitness diet or the other way around. It is absolutely not recommended to follow both at the same time; unless of course if you want to gain body fat.
But then diet fitness is not all about losing fat, one must also consider his diet in order to keep fat away. Research shows that sustainable loss of weight can only be achieved on a diet which suits the individual food preferences, lifestyle, and medical profile and satiety signals.
Diet programs all over can help you shed off excess pounds, but only one diet can help you stay sexy, and it is the one that satisfies you most. Other important aspects of having a fit diet are moderation, balance and variation. One must be careful not to leave out important nutrients and other substances necessary for healthy body functioning. Health organizations are clear about the amounts of nutrients an individual should have in the body.
Low fat high carbs, high carbs low fat; the question is not which diet program will work out but which is it that will work for you. Striving for a sexy and healthy body does not have to burden an individual; diet fitness does not have to mean sticking to the same kind of food for life. One may even try to be adventurous and try out new foods out there. Who knows? One may even discover spinach interesting.

The Natural Lemon Detox Diet: Master Cleanse
Lemon is truly a jewel of nature. Can be considered the king of fruit dressings, and the impressive amount and variety of its applications.
However, we tend to repudiate it, when we think of the bitter taste, and minimize their strengths, both in maintaining and restoring health, according to their nutritional value and multiple possibilities for culinary use.
This attitude was installed by the assumption that he is aggressive to the stomach, which can acidify the blood, softening and weakening the body ... Nothing could be more false and opposed to reality. Consider:
The lemon detox diet, or what is commonly known as the master cleanse, is a form of a detoxification regimen. Several Hollywood stars have tried and tested its efficiency, and this diet did not leave them disappointed. This diet has given hope to millions of people all over the world who want to lose weight and be healthier. But what are there to know about this master cleanse? Is this therapy really beneficial and safe to try?
The lemon detox diet master cleanse is believed to be very safe because only natural products are used. The process would include the purification of the entire body as the accumulated toxins are flushed out from the system. As the body cleanses itself, its weight will begin to normalize.
Everyone should try to detoxify their bodies, at least twice a year. People who think that they are healthy enough should also try this kind of diet. You should know that toxins build up in our body because of the air we breathe, the water we drink, and even the food we eat. Even the emotional and physical stresses that we experience play a role in the accumulation of toxins.
Thus, because of this, the body should be given a time to get rid of the harmful compounds that may endanger our health. This is where the detox diet should enter.
Healthy diet, supplemented by herbs and vitamins should be able to assist in the detoxification of our system. As you cleanse our body, you should stay away from substances that may have unfavorable effects to your body and health.
Instead of turning to these unhealthy foods, you should try to eat those organically and naturally grown, like lemons, carrots and the likes that motivate the filtration process of the liver. This is why the lemon detox diet is a sure hit in attaining a healthier and better quality of life.
You should understand that the lemon detox diet is a great way to get rid of unwanted toxins, and not for weight loss. Perhaps, it is just a consequence because when you are doing a master cleanse, you only feed on liquids. However, when you reduce your intake of calorie, your body learns how to get by with less fuel so your metabolism slows down.
With slower metabolism, you may feel weaker. Thus, to be clear, you should remember that the primary goal of a lemon detox diet is to let your digestive system take a break, so that your body would have the opportunity to retune itself while you stay energetic at the same time.
If your goal is to lose weight rather than to eliminate toxins from your body, you will find yourself gaining weight right after your detox diet. This is because since your metabolism had slowed down during the diet, it would continue to slow down even after the diet. Thus, as you go back to your regular eating habit, your body would have a slower pace to burn off the calories that you are taking in.
In summary, you should consider the lemon detox diet as a detoxification regimen for your body at least twice a year. Purging toxins and unhealthy chemicals from your body should be your ultimate goal and not losing weight. Though losing weight is an offshoot of this diet, it should not be your main purpose.
If you really want to lose weight, you should try to exercise regularly and eat a balanced healthy meal.

See These natural benefits of growth hormone (HGH)
HGH is Human Growth Hormone, a natural hormone produced in the pituitary gland of the brain. HGH is considered "the key" hormone because it controls so many functions. It's responsible for youth, vitality, energy and all of the health benefits we associate with youth. Dr. Daniel Rudman's study in the New England Journal Of Medicine demonstrated the remarkable ability to reverse the effects of aging upon the human body with the employment of HGH - Human Growth Hormone! Due in part to his efforts, Dr. Rudmans's study saw the effects of HGH upon overweight men between the ages of 61 and 80 years of age.
In children, HGH functions as purely a growth regulator which aids in increasing the height, developing the organs, increasing immunity etc. But, in adults, HGHs main role is maintaining the overall health of the body by stimulating the production and regeneration of cells and tissues.
By doing so, it keeps the body hale and hearty. Intensive workout regimes tend to increase the natural HGH levels of the body. Adequate sleep of about 8 hours daily is also a good regulator of the natural HGH levels of the body. There are many benefits of increasing the natural HGH levels which have been documented and yet many more which have yet to be discovered. Some of these would be discussed in details in this article.
Increase in the Bodys Immunity
HGH is a hormone of the pituitary gland that promotes production of itself. So, a minute increase in its concentration can bring about in time, a larger increase in its levels in the body. HGH in adequate concentration aids in warding off diseases and infections within the body by increasing the blood cell count. Benefits of increasing the natural HGH levels are that it enhances cardiovascular health, leads to a growth of body organs other than the brain and improves the feel and shade of skin.
Higher Energy Levels or Stamina
Another Benefit of increasing the natural HGH levels is that it stimulates an increase in hormone levels of the body. Hormones being chemical messengers of the body stimulate the organs of the body into action thus, increasing your energy levels. Other than this, it also improves the overall quality of your sleep. By doing so, it provides that extra bit of energy which is required to get through a gruelling day.
Growth of Lean Muscles
HGH promotes the production of proteins in muscles and increases the metabolism of fat. Higher HGH levels in the body increase the lean muscle density and that of the adipose tissues as well. This in turn results in an increase in muscle weight of the body and a reduction in body fat. This is one of the major benefits of increasing the natural HGH levels.
Acts as an Anti-Ageing Agent
The body of an adolescent produces the maximum amount of HGH. With an increase in age, the HGH levels in the body begin depreciating. This is considered to be the main reason for ageing. Benefits of increasing the natural HGH levels of the body are that the human bodys natural tendency to age is hindered. This happens because the primary action of HGH is to rejuvenate the cells of the body. With more new cells in the body than the old and dying ones, the body feels younger and more energetic. If the HGH level in a body can be maintained at a level similar to that found in an adolescent, the body will always remain strong and healthy.
Increase your muscle tone and feel stronger than you have in years

Acid Reflux and its Causes
Acid reflux is a problem that plagues many Americans, causing them pain and discomfort. Commonly referred to as GERD, acid reflux is the term used to describe gastroesophageal reflux disorder. An uncomfortable and often painful condition where a person’s stomach liquid backs up or “refluxes” into his esophagus, acid reflux is the cause for pain, agitation, and discomfort in many Americans.
Gastroesophageal reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is the reflux of food present in the stomach contents into the esophagus, usually with acid pH, but may also be of biliary contents, in this case called alkaline reflux.
Reflux, that contain acid, reaches to the mouth and pharynx, causing, as in heartburn, itching, burning and discomfort.
Although many people recognize that they suffer from this chronic condition, some people don’t really take time to consider where the problem stems from. Perhaps you have already found an over-the-counter drug, a prescription medication, or even a natural remedy to ease your discomfort. The bottom line is that not everyone who suffers from this disorder is aware of the causes. One of the most common causes of acid reflux is abnormal levels of acid. It is important to know that everyone has reflux. It is common and normal. However, in patients with acid reflux, the reflux has a higher acidic content, making it painful and burning as it affects the lining of the esophagus.
Another cause for acid reflux is a weakening of LES pressure or lower esophageal sphincter pressure. This is especially common in pregnant women. Combine that with the fact that the growing baby is putting new pressure on the woman’s abdomen, and it is not difficult to see why acid reflux is so common in pregnancy.
In some cases, acid reflux is caused by esophageal contractions. These contractions can actually cause reflux to back up into the esophagus. This causes pain, discomfort, and irritation for patients. Although this isn’t something that can be magically cured, there are things your doctor can recommend to help you cope with the symptoms.
Another reason many people battle acid reflux is because of hiatal hernias. Hernias occur when the top part of your stomach juts through an opening in your diaphragm, lodging itself up into your chest. This can cause acid reflux in patients. Since the LES (the muscle connecting the esophagus with your stomach) usually keeps your stomach liquids from backing up into your esophagus, it is logical that the weakening of the LES caused by a hiatal hernia can contribute to acid reflux.
Another cause for acid reflux can be the speed at which your body empties your stomach. If this is not done at a normal rate, the result can be acid reflux. There have been a variety of tests and research compiled on this topic, with some interesting information revealed. Medications you are taking could actually contribute to your acid reflux.
Although there are various causes for acid reflux, the good news is that there are also various modes of treatment. You do not have to silently suffer with the uncomfortable, burning sensation that accompanies this chronic disorder. As in the case of any disorder, it is important to consult your doctor for an accurate diagnosis. After doing so, you might want to do a bit of exploring on your own to find natural remedies that can help you tame your acid reflux symptoms.

Put more antioxidants in your diet with these 10 Tips
It’s no secret that antioxidants are incredibly beneficial to good health. It’s believed the antioxidants in food can help prevent cancer, reverse or slow aging, enhance your immune system, increase your energy and improve heart and other organ health.
Given all we know about antioxidants and their beneficial properties, it’s amazing more people don’t get enough fruits and vegetables, the primary sources of antioxidants. Experts recommend a minimum of 5 servings of fruits...and vegetables daily, but say getting 7-10 servings is best.
There are 10 steps to getting more antioxidants into your diet.
1.Breakfast
Breakfast doesn’t have to be a hurried toaster tart on the way out the door. Throw some strawberries, 100% juice and yogurt into a blender; pour your delicious mixture into a cup and head out the door. You’ve just added one to three servings of fruits to your daily intake. Or throw some berries onto your cold or hot cereal.
Say you truly have no time in the morning and usually grab something on the run. Even the Golden Arches can be some help here. Order a fruit and yogurt parfait and some apple slices. For about $2, you have a breakfast providing one to two servings of fruit.
2.Snacks
Here’s an easy way to get more antioxidants in your diet. How about a handful of raisins for a snack, or some fresh red grapes? Dip some strawberries in yogurt. You’ll feel decadent, but the berries provide the color you’re looking for. Need crunch? How about some baby carrots dipped in hummus? Consider a handful of pecans for crunch and a nice antioxidant boost.
3.Lunch and dinner
It might sound trite, but adding a salad to each of your main daily meals can add loads to your overall health and well-being. They don’t have to be boring, and they don’t have to be just salad greens. If you’re going classic, add some red pepper slices to your green salad, some tomatoes to the Greek salad, or tart cranberries to your field greens. Whip up a broccoli salad for lunch, or be adventurous and mix up a rice salad with a mélange of fresh vegetables like string beans, tomatoes, peppers and red onions.
4.Dessert
Berries, with or without whipped cream or chocolate are a wonderful way to end your day of healthy, antioxidant-rich eating.
5.Beverages
Replace your soda with tea or coffee, both of which boast antioxidant compounds. Have a glass of wine with dinner, or for a real change of pace, pour a glass of chai tea.
6.Think outside the box
We know we can get our antioxidant fix from berries, salads and the like, but researchers say powerful antioxidants can also be found in a variety of unexpected foods, like russet potatoes, artichokes, and small red beans. The beans, in fact, may have more antioxidant power than blueberries, experts say. So to your rice salad full of vegetables, add some beans for even more antioxidants.
7.Cook lightly
You think you’re being good, preparing vegetables each night for your family’s dinner. But if you’re overcooking the vegetables, you’re cooking out a lot of the beneficial properties of the antioxidants. Steam (don’t boil) vegetables, and stop cooking them when they will have all of their bright color and most of their bite.
8.Plant a garden
Experts believe that people who plant and harvest vegetables from their own yards are far more likely to eat more vegetables and fruits than people who buy their produce from the store. So plant a garden, watch it grow and eat the fruits (literally) of your labor.
9.Take your healthy diet on vacation
Too many of us consider going on vacation an opportunity to take a vacation from everything, including healthy eating. Think of vacation as a way to be introduced to new foods. Order an interesting vegetable dish in a restaurant and then pay attention to how the chef prepared the dish.
10.Learn to cook
If you’re cooking, you’re not opening bags and boxes. Cooking involves scrubbing and peeling vegetables, preparing whole foods and paying attention to how things are cooked. If you’re ordering out every night, you’re far less likely to be eating the whole foods and natural fruits and vegetables that provide the base for our antioxidant intake.

Flush The Cellulite
By Karen Sessions NSCA-CPT
MsFit
Water covers two thirds of the earth, and makes up approximately 60 to 70% of our bodies. It removes toxins and sodium from the body. It also nourishes the organs, rejuvenates the metabolism, and curbs the appetite. Therefore, drinking adequate water, while eating right and exercising, is the prescription to permanent weight loss.
Many people drink plenty of sodas, coffee, tea, milk, and juice, but such liquids only satisfy the taste buds and do nothing for the body.
On the average, many people are dehydrated most of the time. By taking the edge off of thirst with coffee or other caffinated drinks, you are actually creating a diuretic effect, due to the caffeine. Dehydration makes weight loss more difficult.
Get the Cellulite Busting Advantage!
The basic minimum of water a day is one liter per fifty pounds of body weight. If you are not drinking this much yet, it's a good start.
Eventually, you want to work your way up to at least one gallon of water a day as your fitness routines increase. The more you weigh and the more you exercise, the more water you need. You can shed a good 3 to 8 pounds just by increasing your water intake.
I know many of you can't stand plain water, which of course makes it harder to do and to stay with. If you are among the few, try adding a slice of lemon to your water. Also, Crystal Light and Sugar-Free Kool-Aid are great alternatives to get water in, and still get a fruity or tangy taste.
With an increased water intake, you will be running to the restroom more often. Many may see this as an interference with a normal workday. However, before you opt to snub the water, take time to understand that it's just a flushing process and once your body finds it's normal balance, the restroom eagerness will slowdown.
Lose Cellulite and Regain Your Figure!
When the water rids your body of toxins, you will begin to notice the puffiness in your hips, thighs, buttocks, ankles, waste, and so forth will dissipate.
Not only does water flush the rubbish from your body, but it also hydrates the muscles and improves muscle tone, giving you better workouts, and properly hydrated and toned muscle burns more calories.
To get a head start on your weight loss goals this year, be sure to get adequate water intake.
Fitfully Yours,

Body Detox the Easy Way: A Natural Diet
You may wonder sometimes why your body seems to be heavy and you feel lazy to move, yet you are not sick. You are more than willing to be energetic but your body is not just up to it. To address the problem, you resort to eating a lot, gulp up cups of coffee and smoke, thinking that you will be lively after. For a while, you feel good and going. Unknowingly though, you are accumulating toxins in your body. With this scenario happening more and more, you might need to detoxify.
With our ever-dynamic world today, we want our bodies to be constantly active so we can move along with the fast paced lifestyles. Hence, we resort to body stimulants such as coffee, cigarettes, diet pills, drugs and a lot more thinking that they will help the body to stay up all the time, but they do otherwise. These stimulants cause immediate loss of energy and emotional symptoms such as headaches, sickness and depression. They are also considered as toxins in the body.
What are toxins? Toxins are agents that are able to cause body harm. There are two kinds of toxins, the Exogenous or external toxins and Endogenous or internal toxins. The Exogenous toxins come from external sources such as car fumes, tobacco smoke, drugs, factory pollution, etc. On the other hand, the Enogenous toxins come from viral or bacterial infection. Due to metabolism, the body creates its own toxin called Autogenous toxins.
These harmful substances are eliminated in the body in a process called detoxification. Detoxification is the removal of stored toxic products from the bowel, the blood, liver, and kidneys including the great amount of toxic substances stored in body fat to cure chronic diseases such as cancer. The easiest way to detoxify the body is the body detox through a natural diet. To detoxify the body naturally is a change in the diet from a poor to a healthy one. A healthy diet includes raw food diet, specifically, fruits and vegetables.
Naturally, the body detoxifies itself all day. The peak of detoxification occurs when the body is rested during sleep until noon. This is a way for the body to eliminate the toxins acquired from pollution, stimulants and nutrients.
For the ever busy people, you can substitute your stimulants with natural diet to acquire a healthy and active body. Most common stimulants taken by people are refined white sugar, coffee, diet pills, cigarettes and red meat.
Sugar has a stimulating effect. Hence, we feel invigorated when we drink colas. What we do not know, refined white sugar has detrimental effects on the body. Examples of products containing refined white sugar are cola and ketchup. It is advised to cut down on it by using brown sugars like cane sugar which is natural. Fruit juices also give the same kick as to refined white sugar.
Late night workers resort to drinking coffee to keep them awake. As natural substitute to coffee with a detoxifying effect is Japanese or Chinese green tea. The Japanese or Chinese green tea gives the same kick because it also contains caffeine but it does not contain substances that are irritating to the stomach.
Diet pills are also stimulants for the body to be kept alive. This may be observed among athletes specially, during time for competitions because they give more energy. They are being taken albeit the toxic effect in the body. In lieu of this, athletes must take fruits instead due to their natural detoxifying effects.
For cigarette smokers who think smoking stimulates their mind to think, they must think twice for smoking causes cancer. If they take carrots, they will experience the same effect in a more natural way.
For red meat lovers who really feel good and strong after feasting on said food, they better think about cutting on it. Fish is a better substitute.
Now, we understand why our parents keep on reminding us to eat fruits and vegetables. They give us energy in more natural ways plus they keep us fit and healthy.

WEIGHT LOSS: 4 MYTHS THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
This article clarifies some of the confusion about nutrition and weight loss and serve as a guide for you to make good decisions about their health. If you have any questions, or if you want to lose weight, talk to a healthcare professional. Your doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional in the area, can give you guidance on how to eat healthily and lose weight safely.
The best way to lose weight is to decrease the amount of calories you eat and do more physical activity.
If you read health magazines regularly, you are sure to come across a lot of tips regarding to weight loss. Some of these tips actually work, and others don't. The ones that generally don't work are those that suggest fad diets, weight loss supplements and pills. The tips that actually work for everybody are always simple: that of diet and exercise. However, the weight loss industry is ridden with myths and misleading information, and people often tend to twist the truths, either because of their own advantage or out of plain ignorance. In this article I will discuss three such weight loss myths.
1. Myth#1: Spot reduction of fat is possible:
Not at all true, and I am sure that any weight loss expert will unanimously agree to this. You cannot force your body to spot reduce your fat under any circumstances, no matter what type of workouts you do. If you do only crunches and leg lifts frequently in the hope of reducing belly fat, you will notice that instead of reducing your belly fat, you will reduce the muscle mass that resides beneath the abdomen. For this reason, your focus should not be on crunches and leg lifts alone; you should also follow a healthy diet that would speed up your metabolic rate and help you burn fat fast!
2. Myth#2: A drastic cut down on calorie intake reduces your body fat:
This myth has pushed many a person on the brink of crash dieting. People take to crash dieting in the hope of shedding those extra pounds, least realizing that crash dieting harm their bodies instead of helping them. As a matter of fact, when you starve or fast, your body realizes that you are going to kill it and then it goes into the starvation mode. While in starvation mode, your body slows down your metabolic rate and burns your muscles (instead of fat, which is kept in reserve) for producing energy. This way, you don't lose much fat at all; if anything, you lose your valuable muscles. And once you return to your normal diet, you will gain extra weight!
3. Myth#3: Cardio exercises alone will help you lose weight:
While it is true that cardio exercises can help you lose fat, it is not true that this is the only type of weight loss exercises available; don't forget the aerobics. As a matter of fact, the amount of fat you will lose doing either cardio or aerobics is almost same. On the other hand, weight lifting is better than both cardio and aerobics, in that it not only helps you burn fat during the workout, but even after that!
4.Myth#4: Eating after 8 pm causes weight gain:
Fact: No matter what time of day you eat - how much is eaten throughout the day and the amount of exercise that is performed to gain or lose weight. No matter when you eat your meals, your body will store extra calories as fat. If you want a snack before bedtime, make sure to think before the amount of calories you have ingested that day.
Try not to eat while doing other things like watching television, playing video games or using the computer. If you make meals in the pantry or the dining room, will be less likely to be distracted and will probably become more aware of what and how much you're eating. (If you want to eat while watching television, take a small amount of food with you - as a handful of cookies - not the whole bag.)
I sincerely hope that this article has successfully brought the real weight loss truths before you!

Anti Aging Treatments – Grey Hair Treatments
Aside from wrinkles, sagging facial muscles and the tired haggard look, one of the most obvious manifestations of looking aged is graying hair. The sad part of it is that it affects men and women alike and could happen at any age. This may probably be the reason that many anti-aging treatments especially hair dyes were formulated ling before most anti aging treatments came to be. With rapid advances in science though, gray hair treatments are today not only limited to the manufacture and sales of hair dyes. There are several approaches that could be resorted to in combating the onset of graying hair.
Treatments for graying hair could be categorized into the following basic approaches:
Cosmetic Treatments
Hair dying is the most convenient, most common and the oldest approach to treating gray hair. Hair dyes are formulated so that the molecules could penetrate through the hair cuticles without causing cuticle damage. While most hair dyes employ chemicals in their formulas, the most common ingredient being ammonia, there are also hair dyes that use vegetable colors for those who have concerns regarding applying dyes with chemicals on their hair. Henna and sage are the best examples for these.
Medical Treatments
What gives the hair color is the amount or the concentration of melanin that is present in the body. Melanin gives skin color as well as hair color. It is also a determinant whether a person will tan or burn in the sun. The production of melanin in the body slows down as a person ages. The purpose of medical treatments for graying hair is to reverse the slowing down process of melanin. Drugs are applied to reverse the depigmentation some of the drugs used are Auxins, Imatinib Mesylate and Gleever. These drugs are always dispensed by qualified physicians as others may cause side effects, are not commercially available or are in fact treatments that were originally intended for other ailments.
Application of Topical Nutrients
The following are universally accepted topical solutions that are applied to improve the nutrients that the hair receives and fight against graying hair. Some of these are ancient remedies and are proven trough time.
Eugenol Oil – Applied topically, the active ingredients of eugenol oil come from cloves. Eugenol oil has demonstrated to restore the dolor of the hair.
Amla Oil – This oil strengthens the follicles of the hair facilitates pigmentation and hair growth.
Ligustrum – Has long been used by the Chinese to prevent graying of hair.
Ashwagandha – This one increases the melanin in the hair treating the grays and giving back its color.
Superoxide Dismutase - Are compounds that are often found in hair gels to protect against graying of the hair.
Shampoos with Omega-3 – Omega 3 are anti-oxidants that fight against degrading of the cells. Omega-3 provides nutrition for the hair follicle to fight against premature graying.
Melanin – Could also be applied topically in the scalp.
Retin A – When combined with alpha-hydroxyl acid are powerful agents that give back the hairs natural color.
There are also several nutrients for the hair that could be taken orally. They could be in combination with other drugs or are their main ingredients. These oral treatments could come in the form of capsules and tablets. Some of these are vitamin 12, minerals, Biotin, folic acid, Para- Aminobenzoic Acid, and Inositol.

Prevention: A Guide to Your Anti-Aging Treatment Routine
A proper anti-aging treatment guide is what you need to make your skin care a success. While most women think it is more than hard work to achieve the goal of keeping skin healthy and youthful, it doesn't have to be that complicated. In fact, if you know the simple steps to having a daily skin care treatment, there won't be necessarily a need to resort to expensive procedures just to maintain a flawless skin and body.
To help slow down the effects of aging, you need to understand why the skin wrinkles, sags, and loses the vitality it possesses during youthful days. The simplest explanation for this condition is due to the fact that as the body ages, the skin cells and tissues fail to produce enough important structural proteins, specifically collagens and elastins, which are responsible for making the skin firm and elastic. Due to some damaging factors, production of these proteins slows down affecting the elasticity and firmness of the skin. Since it is these proteins which are greatly responsible in maintaining the skin, it should be these elements which should be targeted when you are undergoing daily skin care routine or anti-aging treatment.
Here are some essential points regarding the preservation and maintenance of these components to slow down if not stop the signs associated with aging. These can be considered as simple measures to preserve and maintain the glow and vitality of your skin for as long as possible.
• First of all, human body is generally comprised of 70% water. It may appear that this is a frequently used advice offered by the experts and even non-experts, but drinking enough amount of water everyday is actually fundamental. Keeping your body hydrated is one key to keeping your skin young and clean. Most experts recommend drinking eight glasses of water in a daily basis enough for a good skin hydration.
• What you eat reflects on your outer appearance. So if your diet is poor and contains mostly junks, you will notice that the skin echoes its bad results. A good diet ideal for having healthy and glowing skin must consist of more vitamins and minerals, and lots of antioxidants. You mostly get these nutrients from leafy green vegetables and fruits.
• Short exposure to sunlight can be beneficial to your health and skin; however it is different story when it is a long exposure. While sunrays provide vitamin D, too much exposure provides harmful UV rays as well; therefore becoming very detrimental to your skin. So when outside, always avoid the sunlight or use good sunscreen or sun blocks to protect your skin.
If you are going to use anti-aging treatment products or skin care routine, it is advisable that you select those that aid in the following:
• Collagens and elastics. There are anti-aging treatment products that claim they contain these two important proteins; however, this type of product is not advised since these proteins are too large to be absorbed by the skin pores. What you should choose are products that boosts production of these proteins.
• Skin nourishment. To achieve supple, vibrant, and young skin, your body must be properly nourished by a good diet and lots of water.
• Mild and natural anti-aging skin care treatment. Using mild and natural anti-aging treatment products effectively neutralize results of aging specifically premature skin aging.

Also make sure you get enough sleep. Again you need to keep your body in tip top shape to help you in your fight against acne.

Acne Diet Link Exposed: Is There an Acne Cure Diet that Works?
Acne Diet and The Money Factor: You Can't Sell a Healthy Diet
Ask any medical doctor if there is a connection between diet and acne and almost all of them will claim there is none. Quoting from the Journal of the American Medical Association: "Diet plays no role in acne treatment in most patients…even large amounts of certain foods have not clinically exacerbated acne".
With years of medical education and clinical experience behind these claims, how can we the simple folks who suffer from acne challenge these statements and think otherwise? The answer is: doubt. Doubt, if its stays in the borders of reason, can open many doors otherwise will stay forever shut. Believe it or not, doubt can change reality. Doubt can cure your acne and doubt can even save your life.
Fact is, countless of acne sufferers have reported that their acne seemed to get worse when they consumed certain foods and saw dramatic positive change over their acne condition when they eliminated the same foods from their diet and when certain foods with specific nutritional value were incorporated into their diet.
So why do dermatologists so stubbornly insist that diet does not cause acne? The answer: you can't make a profit promoting a healthy diet. At least not as much money as you could make by selling drugs and over the counters. There is a huge pressure upon doctors coming from the drug and pharmaceutical companies to prescribe expensive medications and lotions that create dependency. The truth is, that your doctor is in a way, a hostage by the trillion dollar drug companies. Did you know that the drug companies, who have no interest in producing something that they cannot control financially, sponsor most medical schools?
The right diet, although not a solution by itself, can, in many cases, dramatically reduce inflammation and even completely clear one's acne (if you're one of the lucky ones who's acne is triggered by allergic response to food). Promoting a clear skin diet simply means less profits for the drug and pharmaceutical companies.
The truth is that conventional medications will never cure your acne, simply because they are pre-designed NOT to fix the internal cause of acne. They are pre-designed to deal with the external symptoms of a disease as they create more and more dependency and more dependency means making more money all at our expense and ignorance.
The Theory That Diet Doesn’t Cause Acne Is A Myth
The dogmatic theory that diet does not cause acne and that acne is merely an incurable genetic disorder was based upon two dated researches published in 1969 and 1971 that were aimed at studying the connection between diet and acne.
These studies were the foundation of the ‘acne symptoms treatment strategy’, meaning, because acne is a genetic disease that cannot be prevented, the only way to deal with acne would be to tackle its symptoms (bacteria, inflammation, puss, redness, greasiness), by applying creams, antibiotics, taking prescription drugs and over the counters.
Surprisingly enough, years after the above studies were published, clinical trials and in depth researches experimenting the acne diet link have found that the studies from 1969 and 1971 had came to the wrong conclusions and were in fact seriously flawed.
Recent studies have clearly found a significant connection between diet and acne. It appears that the wrong diet is now thought to be one of the leading acne contributing factors that can negatively affect hormonal regulation and the natural process of toxic elimination, which can seriously aggravate one’s existing acne.
Diet Shapes Who You Are (Including Your Acne)
In the same way that crashing waves shape beach cliffs and just like the wind shapes the canyon walls, slowly and methodically over time, so does eating shapes and effects our physic, our internal system, our physical and mental being, from the organ down to the cellular level.
The idea that an object foreign to our body that is inserted by the food that we eat, has no effect on us, or has no impact on chronic conditions such as acne is absurd. Diet is the primary thing that affects and shapes who we are.
Diet has cumulative effect on our bodies, and that includes our skin condition and acne, which is a manifestation of a chronic internal problem slowly shaped and built by the wrong daily dietary choices over the years.
Acne Diet and The Kitavan Islanders
While in the U.S, more than 80% of teenagers between 16 and 18 have acne and more than 17 million Americans suffer from some form of acne, there is an interesting evidence that native people that live and eat in traditional ways, have significantly lower to no occurrences of acne.
In 2002, Dr. Cordain and his colleagues published a landmark study that examined 300 people living in the Kitavan Islands off the coast of Papua New Guinea that showed that none of the islanders had even one blemish on his or her face. Similar to the Kitavans, no case of acne had been observed when the same experiment had been conducted upon the South American Indians called the Ache, living in a remote jungle in eastern Paraguay.
The natives of Kitavan and the South American Indians had no access to the latest over the counters, topical creams or conventional acne medications and they had no dermatologist to consult with. The only vast difference between them and American or European citizens is their diet.
Acne Diet and Sugar: The Sweet Poison
Aside from the fact that sugar is a 100% pure chemical with zero nutritional value, recent studies have clearly shown a connection between the consumption of sugar and the aggravation of acne.
When you consume any form of refined carbohydrates (white sugar, white flour, white rice) here's what happens: right after you insert that 'sweet poison' into your body, it rapidly spikes up your blood sugar levels. Your body needs to bring those levels down so it secrets a surge of insulin, other male hormones and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1. The excretion of these hormones overwhelms your liver and your internal system in general. The excess of male hormones encourages the skin to excrete large amounts of sebum oil: The greasy substance that encourages the p.acne bacteria to grow, resulting in the aggravation of your acne.
Acne Diet and Dairy Products: Got Milk? Got Acne
If you thought sugar can aggravate your acne, here's another major nutritional player in the formation of acne: behold the miracles of milk. Milk (all dairy products included) is the most harmful, mucus forming, allergenic and acne aggravating food you can find. Surprised? I thought so. After years of constant brainwashing by the media, who can blame us for thinking milk is good for strong bones and healthy teeth? The truth is: every sip of milk contains 59 different raging hormones, (which trigger the hyper-production of sebum oil resulting in more acne), saturated animal fat, steroid hormones, dead white blood cells, and cow pus in abundance!
Did you know that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows 750 million pus cells in every liter of milk (about two pounds) produced in America? Think about it, the next time you pop a pimple.
Scientific studies already point the finger at milk as one of the worst acne aggravating foods: "As pointed out by Dr. Jerome Fisher, 'About 80 percent of cows that are giving milk are pregnant and are throwing off hormones continuously.' Progesterone breaks down into androgens, which have been implicated as a factor in the development of acne...Dr. Fisher observed that his teenage acne patients improved as soon as the milk drinking stopped."
If there's one element you should remove from your diet in the quest for clear skin make it this one. Not only will you see an immediate improvement over your acne, you'll feel a huge weight has been lifted from your body. If you worry about calcium intake, don’t! Milk being acidic forming food creates a leeching effect where calcium is taken from your bones to balance the acidity. Milk actually deprives your body from its calcium resources. Green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds are not only excellent sources of calcium they also have the powers to help you fight your acne symptoms.
Diet Is Only One of The Factors That Cause Acne
Dairy products and sugar are not the only acne aggravating foods. The two above cannot sum up the list of western made acne triggering foods. There are several other foods you should clearly stay away from if you ever wish to clear your acne. The good new is that there are tons of other foods such as essential fatty acids that are not only excellent for your skin, they can actually help you clear your acne, by re-balancing your body and promoting to an acne-free environment.
The right nutrition plays an important part in the complex process of acne formation. When doctors claim there is no link between diet and acne because certain individuals can eat specific foods and get acne while others eat the same foods and don't, these doctors have failed to realize that there are several factors involved in the formation and aggravation of acne and diet is only ONE of them.
The Final Verdict On The Acne Diet Connection: How To Finally Overcome Your Acne Challenge
Acne is a complex condition that is triggered by several underlying factors. The only way to neutralize your acne condition is to tackle all these acne-contributing factors-holistically. Since the wrong diet is only one of these acne-triggering factors, in most cases no special diet can cure acne.
There is a however, a tight connection between diet and acne formation. Dietary factors can trigger and aggravate your existing acne. Avoiding the wrong foods such as milk, sugar and hydrogenated oils, and eating cleansing and hormonal balancing foods such as green leafy vegetables and essential fatty acids, can help your skin heal itself from the inside out and dramatically reduce your acne symptoms.
There are also several important dietary principals that you must understand and follow if you ever want to cure your acne for good.
Taking responsibility over your body and adhering to these dietary principals along with taking the necessary steps to tackle all acne contributing factors, holistically, will not only cure your acne permanently and give you the flawless acne free skin you deserve, following these principals will also significantly improve your overall health, mental well-being, look and feel.

Weight Loss Program Success: 5 Surefire Advices
There is no dearth of diet programs whether online or offline. Even if you limit your search to the world wide web only, you will still find an avalanche of diet programs. What is harder is finding a diet plan that would be ideal for your health, help you lose weight and not harm your body in any way. Believe me, finding the best weight loss program is like finding a pearl from the bottom of the ocean. But regardless of which diet program you chose, you will still need to follow the basics of dieting, otherwise you will never be able to lose weight. In this article, I will tell you about five basics of effective weight loss.
1. Metabolism is the key weight loss determinant: Always keep in mind that your body's metabolic rate is what will determine how much weight you will be able to lose at a given point of time. If your metabolic rate is high, you can lose a lot of weight even while at rest; on the other hand, if your metabolic rate is slow, then you should find ways to increases it. One way of speeding up your metabolism is by using weight loss pills and supplements.
2. Regular exercises are a must: Regardless of how strictly you follow your diet, if you lie idle all day sitting on your couch and watching your favorite TV program, how can you expect to shed those obstinate pounds? You should exercise regularly and never skip even a single workout session! If you are afraid of high intensity exercises such as cardio and resistance training, you can start with lighter aerobics. Aerobics will help you burn as much fat as cardio. If you cannot do exercises at all, regular walking alone will help you burn fat.
3. Don't lose it too quickly: I know that you are in a hurry to lose weight and fit yourself into one of your old jeans or bikinis, but you should never attempt to lose weight too fast. Ideally you should lose no more than 1 or 2 pounds per week. If you lose more than that then it can affect your health negatively. If you think you are losing weight too fast, you should immediately see a doctor.
4. Eat low fat foods only: I know that every weight loss expert has advised you the same thing, but allow me to reiterate that you should eat only those foods that have a low fat content. Eating fatty and junk foods will make your situation worse!
5. Work harder for hereditary obesity: Some people become overweight because of hereditary issues. If your parents were overweight then it is no wonder that you won't be any different. Also, people who suffer from hereditary obesity need to work harder than others in order to lose weight. This doesn't mean that you cannot lose weight at all; but you shouldn't expect yourself to become ultra slim like others.
